Emily
Clowes is a graduate student in Bioengineering. She is currently
working with Dr. Dennis Carter and Dr. Chris Jacobs to investigate
the role of mechanical
stimuli on periosteal derived mesenchymal stem cell activity.
Emily received her masters in mechanical engineering from Stanford
University in 2005 and her bachelors in bioengineering from
the University of California, Berkeley in 2003.
Emily
is currently supported by the NSF Graduate Student Fellowship.
